Students, Families, and Community Members:
We are headed towards the beginning of another school year – but one unlike any other. Today we are releasing further information about the processes and procedures we have put into place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our school family.
As a reminder, our school calendar was adjusted to provide additional time for our staff to ensure safety protocols were well established.
For our on-campus learners, August 11-14 will be a series of staggered first days of school for students.

Last month we released our Return to School Guide. Today we are releasing further guidelines regarding specific procedures and processes that have established for students. Included in today’s release is further information about student wellness procedures, face masks, transportation, and child nutrition. All information regarding the start of this school year can also be found by visiting www.sbpsb.org/strongstart. School specific information can be found on each school’s individual school website.
As educators it is our passion, calling, and desire to care for the children we teach. The current challenges we are experiencing with this pandemic create many obstacles to our daily work. However, I am confident that by working together as a school family we can accomplish great things this year.
We greatly appreciate the continued trust and support of our students, their families, and our St. Bernard community.
Sincerely,
Doris Voitier
Superintendent of Schools
