IS THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR 2021-2022!

 May 24, 2021

Dear Trist Middle School Parent/Guardian:

As this extremely challenging school year comes to a close, I hope this summer allows you and your family time to rest and enjoy each other!  It is the hope of the faculty and staff of N.P. Trist Middle School that learning continues during the summer months so that your child’s academic success is not disrupted. Encouraging your child to read during the summer is a great strategy for parents who are concerned about continuous student progress.

During the month of July, I will send you more information concerning the start of the 2021-2022 school year.  Due to the ever changing situation with the Covid 19 Pandemic, there is still uncertainty about how our school year will be organized as far as opening activities.  The packet that you will receive from TMS in July will answer many of your questions.  Remember to like our Facebook page and to keep an eye on the Trist Middle School WEBSITE for more information.

This packet includes your child’s final 2020-2021 Report Card, the 2021-2022 School Supply List, and the St. Bernard Parish Public Schools Dress Code.  We have received word that students will most likely be able to dress out for P.E. this coming year so you should plan to purchase P.E. uniforms at the beginning of the school year (more information on pricing will be included in the summer mail out).

Enjoy your summer and, once again, remember that the first day of the 2021-2022 school year is Friday, August 6, 2021!

Sincerely,

Denise D. Pritchard, Principal
