Teacher Feature: Jenny Maldonado

Andrew Jackson Middle School, Teacher Feature: Jenny Maldonado

Today is #TeacherFeatureWednesday, and the St. Bernard Parish School Board would like to salute Jenny Maldonado at Andrew Jackson Middle School.

“Mrs. Maldonado can be described as having a quiet strength.  She never raises her voice.  She’s always teaching, and her students are always learning.  She does a fabulous job of teaching her students how to write.  I’ve worked with her for four years, and I’ve truly enjoyed it.  She is an asset to our school.”

Dr. Montrelle Sinegar, Principal

“Mrs. Maldonado likes a lot of books from all different genres.  She is awesome, and she is a fun-loving person who really cares about her students.”

DeKana St. Germain, student

Several other students, some who have never even been taught by Mrs. Maldonado, commented on her kind nature and how she treats everyone with respect.  They enjoy being around her, even if it is just during courtyard or after school duty.
