Symphony Chorus of New Orleans Performs at the Chalmette High Cultural Arts Center
For the first time ever, the Symphony Chorus of New Orleans will perform the world’s best known and most popular choral work: Handel’s Messiah at the Chalmette High School Cultural Arts Center. This breathtaking presentation will take place Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 7 P.M.
The Chalmette High School Voices and Music Director Annelise Cassar will be performing alongside the SCNO’s professional orchestra and other soloists.
Handel’s Messiah was first performed during the Easter season in 1742, the baroque oratorio has become an annual favorite and is a part of the December holiday ritual for many concertgoers.
