Ms. Holly Landry

Ms. Holly Landry is the College/Career counselor at Chalmette High school. She started her teaching career at Andrew Jackson Fundamental Magnet High School in 2002. Ms. Landry taught math at her alma mater. She taught there until Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Ms. Landry graduated from the University of New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in Math Secondary Education in 2002. During her 1st few years of teaching, Ms. Landry attended the University of Southern Mississippi to pursue her master’s degree in school counseling. She graduated with her master’s in May 2006. In August 2006, Ms. Landry was welcomed back to St. Bernard Parish as the 7th & 8th counselor at Chalmette High. She moved to sophomore counselor in 2007 and took on School test coordinator responsibilities as well in 2009. She also taught Developmental Math at Nunez Community College from 2012-2014. She has been the High School Summer School Principal since 2010. Ms. Landry is a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. She attended St. Mark’s Elementary and Andrew Jackson High School. She loves talking to students about their academic and career potential. She also has a warm welcoming heart when helping students with teenage social situations. Ms. Landry enjoys spending time with her son and other family members.
