Welcome to J. F. Gauthier Elementary
Dear Gauthier Families,
I want to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation to the staff, students, and families of J. F. Gauthier for all their efforts this year.
I wish all the best to students who are moving on to different schools as well as a safe, exciting summer for those who are returning. During the summer, please encourage your children to continue reading, learning and wondering. Time at the park, in the backyard, or at the beach can be a great place to get lost in a book or let the imagination run wild.
Special thanks to all of you who have contributed in small and large ways. Copying papers, helping at the book fairs, organizing the Santa’s Secret Shop, selling concessions, chaperoning field trips, helping with our plays, ….supporting our work in countless ways and providing the resources to do what we dream and know is good for children. Thanks for getting your kids to school on time each day, checking their folders daily, and for making sure homework gets done… and turned in. Thank you for providing rich and engaging, well-rounded experiences for your children and knowing that education is about joy, wonder and fostering curiosity, along with the development of social skills needed to succeed. For these, and a million other things, we are truly grateful.
On behalf of the staff of J. F. Gauthier Elementary, have a great summer with your families and we look forward to seeing you next year.
Sincerely,
Lisa G. Young
