Mrs. Acosta attended St. Bernard Parish School System as a child. She went to J.F. Gauthier for elementary school. After graduating from Southeastern Louisiana University, she immediately began teaching 4th grade at J.F. Gauthier. Mrs. Acosta loves her students and cannot imagine teaching anywhere else besides Gauthier. Outside of teaching, one of her favorite things to do is to spend time with her husband and 3 children. On weekends, she loves to read, go for walks and go camping. Being a wife, mother, and teacher are all things she cherishes and holds closely to her heart.
