John Stogner is the Physical Education teacher at Chalmette Elementary School. He has been teaching in St. Bernard Parish since the 2014-2015 school year. He is certified in both Physical Education for K-12 and Social Studies for 7-12. He is a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish and wouldn’t want to be living or teaching anywhere else. His interests outside of teaching include sports, other competitive activities, and spending time with his family. He is one of the Academic Games coaches at Chalmette Elementary as well, and is a former player who is trying to pass on what he learned from such a great program.  Fun Facts about Mr. Stogner include: He is a University of Southern Mississippi graduate; he is an assistant basketball coach at Chalmette High School; he is still active in many different sports including bowling where he has bowled two perfect 300 games.
