Hello!

My name is Ms. Lion, and I am so excited about starting my first year at Chalmette High. I actually graduated from Chalmette High in 2018. Afterwards, I attended UNO, and was able to receive my BA in Psychology. Afterwards, I felt the call to teach, and was able to participate in the Teach St. Bernard program. I will now be teaching English 1 at the Chalmette High 9th Grade Academy. I look forward to tackling my first year, and I can not wait to expand the minds of all of my students. 

In my free time, I can be found enjoying time with friends, family, and exploring New Orleans. I love visiting the French quarter and city park. My favorite types of books to read are the literary classics, young adult novels, and true crime. I am hoping to give out some good recommendations whenever anyone asks.
