Welcome!
Ms. Robinson is thrilled to be teaching English I this year at Chalmette High School. Born in New Orleans and raised in St. Bernard Parish, Ms. Robinson is a product of the St. Bernard Parish school system and is excited to give back to her community. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University New Orleans. Coming from a family of educators, it felt natural for her to enter the teaching profession. She previously taught pre-school, and last school year, she taught Intro to Business Computer Applications.
Ms. Robinson's main priority is maintaining a nurturing, positive classroom environment for learning. She is here to support any student in need and wants her students to grow into thoughtful, responsible young adults.
In her free time, Ms. Robinson enjoys dancing, reading, writing, gardening, and spending time with her friends and family. She loves classic horror films, traveling abroad, the New Orleans Saints (you may catch her at a Saints game from time to time!), and plants (feel free to ask her about her numerous houseplants).
