Ms. Carter is an ELA Inclusion teacher for ninth grade students. She believes that ELA can be a vehicle for self-expression, empowering her students to find their voice and gain self-confidence. She is new to the Chalmette High staff and looks forward to meeting the incoming freshmen for their first year.

Ms. Carter graduated from Nicholls State University. She received a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies and an Associate in Criminal Justice. Ms. Carter's step-father is the baseball team's head coach and she enjoys supporting the team.
