Miss Beckwith graduated from Chalmette High School in 2009. She has always had a passion for teaching. She went to Nunez Community College, where she graduated with an Associate's Degree in Elementary Education. She continued her education at the University of New Orleans, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree. Miss Beckwith was a Para-Educator at Arabi Elementary from 2018-2021 and worked with special education students in grades K-5th. In August 2021, Miss Beckwith became one of the Special Education teachers at Joe Davies. This is now Miss Beckwith's 3rd year teaching Special Education. 

Miss Beckwith also has a passion for dance. She was a CHS Charmer for 4 years, where she served as Captain during her Senior Year (2008-2009). She was also on the University of New Orleans's dance team for 2 years. Miss Beckwith has loved dancing for so long, that she then coached many dance teams at various St.Bernard Parish Public Schools, which includes Andrew Jackson Middle School and Arabi Elementary. Once Miss Beckwith started teaching at Davies, she started as an assistant coach for the dance team. She is now going into her 3rd year coaching the team and has become the head coach this year. 

Miss Beckwith loves spending time with her family, friends, and her godchild, Carter. She doesn't have any children of her own, but since most of her friends do, she definitely enjoys spending time with all of her bonus "nieces and nephews". In her spare time, you will most likely see Miss Beckwith at the beach or binge watching FRIENDS. She is looking forward to this upcoming school year. Lets Go Pels!
