The St. Bernard Parish Public School System has been working to provide families with a better understanding of what to anticipate for the upcoming school year. As further guidance is provided from the Louisiana Department of Health and the CDC, our policies and procedures are likely to change; however, at this time, these are our current intentions for the 2021-2022 school year. Families will be able to find the latest information over the coming weeks by visiting www.sbpsb.org/reopening2021.

As always, please know that our number one goal is to provide a safe and healthy learning environment for all students and staff. We also deeply believe that children thrive when engaged in on-campus learning and have opportunities to participate in the learning experience outside of the classroom. As such, we plan to return to on-campus learning five days a week for all preschool through 12th grade students. Furthermore, depending on the state of our community at the time,  it is our intention to be able to offer to students the opportunities to engage in more extracurricular activities coming this fall. The Virtual Learning Program will be continue to be available on a limited basis to students and families who are medically fragile. More information about the application process for our Virtual Program will be made available in the coming weeks.
