Hi there! I am a first year teacher and I am THRILLED to be teaching third grade at J.F. Gauthier.  My passion is to create an atmosphere for learning and growth in my classroom.  I want to create a safe, fun space for children to grow.  The reason I decided to become a teacher is because of the positive effect my own teacher had on me (many, many) years ago.  Life comes full circle!

I recently completed my post-baccalaureate certification in Early Childhood Education at Tulane. As a resident of Chalmette, I feel blessed to have the opportunity to teach here in St. Bernard Parish.  It is my privilege to have the opportunity to help your littles fall in love with school and learning.  My most important commitment to them is to spark their curiosity and help them use their intelligence and creativity to become life-long learners.  I firmly believe that a child's education is a three-way partnership amongst the parent, teacher, and child. Pleas reach out anytime. My ears are always open!
