Mr. Smith is excited to join the AJ team this year as a self-contained special education teacher!  He is from Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and has been teaching special education for 10 years.  He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2010 with a Bachelors degree in History and Education.   He has lived in New Orleans for the last seven years and now lives in Algiers with his wife Ava and his pets.  When not teaching, Mr. Smith likes being in nature and enjoys camping, hiking, canoeing and pretty much anything else you can do outside.  He is very excited to join the team and can't wait to get to know his students and families!
