Ms. Marie teaches 7th grade American History. She graduated from Belle Chasse High School then from the University of New Orleans with a bachelor's degree in Secondary Social Studies Education. While at UNO, she was a peer support leader, president of the Unity (a club focused on creating a more inclusive on-campus environment), and an ambassador for the UNO-Innsbruck study abroad program.

She is very passionate about learning and her subject area but her main focus is making each student feel as included and encouraged as possible. 

Outside of school, she loves going to museums, watching documentaries, studying the metaphysical, spending time with friends, and traveling as much as possible. She also has two cats, Binx and Percy, and they are the light of her life!
