Mr. Chiek teaches 5th grade ELA and Social Studies at Arlene Meraux Elementary. He recently graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education Grades 1-5. Mr. Chiek brings an endless supply of energy to the classroom to encourage a very positive learning environment in which students can thrive in. He can't wait to meet each one of his students and begin this school year.

       As a huge fan of sports, Mr. Chiek strongly believes in teamwork and succeeding together as a class. He encourages hard work and perseverance through stuggles in order to meet the end goal. Together, we will create a very enthusiastic classroom environment in which students can work hard and achieve success.
