Ms. Stephanie Bailly
Ms. Bailly teaches K-5 Art to our students at Chalmette Elementary School. She was born and raised in central upstate New York and attended the State University of New York, College at Oneonta, where she received a degree in Childhood Education, Grades 1-6.
Her teaching career started in Union County, NC where she taught 1st Grade. She moved to Louisiana in 2009, where she first worked for St. Bernard Parish School Board as a 4th Grade Teacher at W. Smith Elementary in Violet. She then taught 4th Grade at Joseph Davies Elementary in Meraux, where, after pursuing her art certification, she taught Art to students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade.
She continued her teaching career at Lynn Oaks School, a small private school in Braithwaite, teaching Art to students in PK3 through 8th Grade. While there, she spent her time away from school on authoring and compiling Art Education Resources for her store of art-related digital products.
She officially began teaching art at Chalmette Elementary School in the 2019-20 school year. You may also find her working with the Art Club, or organizing our school's United Way campaign.
Through her teaching, Ms. Bailly shares her enthusiasm for art, her passion for creating and her zeal for life-long learning. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing with her family while listening to music, reading, drawing or sketching.
