Mariel Lusco grew up in St. Bernard parish and graduated from Chalmette High School.  As a Physical Science teacher she hopes to instill a sense of wonder about life and our Universe.  Science is interesting because it is mysterious and ever changing. 

     One of her dreams is to make a positive impact on the world through teaching.  She looks forward to encouraging students to maximize their full potential and realize the amazing possibilities life has to offer.  Ms. Lusco's goal is for all of us to learn, grow, thrive, and be kind and happy.  Friends and family are very important to her and she enjoys sports, being in nature, making art and pondering life.
