Hi y'all! I miss you all very much and hope you and yours are staying safe and healthy. As many of you know, we have switched to remote learning for the time being. Here is some information to help guide you through what to expect moving forward:
Beginning on Monday, April 20th, we will be utilizing Google Classroom, IXL and Zoom for our virtual learning. If any of those sound scary, no worries! I promise it will be pain-free and logging-in will be easy. With that being said, this is required for your final grade for this school year and is not optional.
As always, you will be able to access EVERYTHING through CLEVER with the following steps:
- Go to https://clever.com/ 2. Click “log in as a student” in the top right hand corner. 3. Type “Chalmette High School” into the Search for Your School box. 4. Your username is your 9-digit student ID number. (If you forgot your student ID number, it can be found inside of your agenda.) 5. Your password is your 8-digit birthday. (MMDDYYYY) 6. Once you have successfully logged-in, you can scroll down and find the apps for Google Classroom, IXL, and Zoom.
- If you are having trouble accessing Google Classroom, IXL, Zoom, or Clever, please do not hesitate to email me at email@example.com. Do not wait until the end of the week or the end of the school year to let me know that you cannot log-in. Let me know immediately, and I will get back to you as soon as I can with a solution.
- You can expect me to respond to your emails and questions between the hours of 9:00AM-3:30PM Monday through Friday. If your email arrives outside of that window, I may not get to it until the next day. I will likely not be responding to emails on Saturday and Sunday, but you may send them anyway. I will get to them Monday morning.
- Zoom office hours will be held on Tuesday's and Thursdays. The schedule to Zoom is as followed:2nd: 10:30-11:003rd: 11:30-12:004th: 12:30-1:00
