Born and raised in Kenner, Louisiana, Mr. Buckman attended the University of Mississippi where he studied Journalism and English. A strong passion for reading and writing led him to continue his education at Mississippi College School of Law. Upon graduating from law school, he returned home to Louisiana and has been practicing law for nearly six years. This will be Mr. Buckman's third year teaching English I & II at Chalmette High and he is very excited and eager to get back into the classroom for the 2020-2021 school year. Mr. Buckman truly believes that with effort and dedication anything is possible
