Ms. Dresser can't wait to start her 10th year teaching elementary school! 4th grade was her favorite grade to be in - and her favorite grade to teach. She loves the curiousity, enthusiasm, and background knowledge of this age which allow the kids to engage in deeper discussions while still holding onto their silliness and imagination.

Ms. Dresser lives in the neighborhood and can be seen riding her bike to school each day. Originally from Massachusetts, she moved here in 1994 to attend Tulane University and fell in love with the area. She taught for 3 years in New Orleans, 3 years in the Bronx and 1 year in Denver, Colorado and last year at Arabi Elementary. Seven years ago, Ms. Dresser began an educational tour company, (French Quartour Kids) bringing New Orleans' history to local and visiting kids. She loves the friendliness of people in the parish as well as the history of the people who settled here.

(Ms. Dresser has a Masters in Elementary Education and a Level 1 Teaching Certificate.)

Ms. Dresser loves exploring the world- through books, conversations, and travel. She enjoys attending our local festivals, attempting creative endeavors, and hanging out with her dogs, husband, and stepkids! And she LOVES Ben & Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk ice cream.
