Mr. Munch received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History at the University of New Orleans. It was here that he learned to appreciate the art of writing and discussing new ideas and perspectives. Mr. Munch’s first experience in teaching English Language Arts began at St. Bernard Adult Education and Nunez Community College, but his desire to teach the youth of his community led to his joining Andrew Jackson Middle School.

Born and raised in St. Bernard parish, Mr. Munch is excited to join a long list of teachers that influenced him on his educational journey. Throughout the year, our class will learn vital skills for success both in and outside of the classroom. Due to his unique experience teaching at the adult and college levels, Mr. Munch knows what our students need to master in order to achieve their goals. Mr. Munch believes we learn best as a community and stresses the importance of respect among all students.
