Degrees and Certifications:
B.A. Public Relations and Communications, Tulane University
Mr. Cody Palazzolo
Upon entering Mr. Palazzolo's classroom, three qualities are expected to be upheld by all students: Respect, Purpose, and Kindness. It is Mr. Palazzolo's firm belief that the balance of all three will result in ultimate academic success and serve as a humanistic tool for students to help navigate their life choices outside of the classroom.
Born and raised in St. Bernard Parish, Mr. Palazzolo is ecstatic to be returning to his hometown to begin teaching English Language Arts at Andrew Jackson. A recipient of a Bachelors of Public Relations and Communications degree from Tulane University, he has a deep appreciation of all forms of effective communication. As a result, he has a strong motive to foster growth in his students' writing and reading skills to guide them in their educational and professional lives.
Mr. Palazzolo's career pursuance in the education field stems from the influence his high school English teachers had on him. During his time in high school, those teachers cultivated a sense of family and personal growth that shaped the way he approached all future challenges, academic and personal.
Outside of the classroom, he enjoys writing in many forms, but mostly in music, short stories, and poetry. On Sundays you can count on him lounging in his living room waiting for the latest episode of Game of Thrones to air.
Most importantly, he is looking forward to the 2018-2019 school year and to witness all the learning in the air at Andrew Jackson!
