Mr. Reed is a UNO graduate with a degree in Elementary Education. After experiencing the camaraderie found throughout St. Bernard Parish and its School Board, Mr. Reed is looking forward to another school year in this parish to continue making a difference in all his students’ lives. Mr. Reed’s never-give-up attitude and passion for teaching allows him to put in the time to know all his students' needs and concerns. It is what will help him create a class filled with young minds wanting to learn together at Meraux Elementary as they go on the journey that is the 4th grade.

In his spare time, Mr. Reed enjoys drawing, reading, playing games, photography, and spending time with his family and pets.   

One quote that Mr. Reed thinks when looking to reignite his reason for getting his students to get joy out of reading is:
