Welcome to Mrs. McCloskey’s 4th-grade class! Mrs. McCloskey graduated from the University of New Orleans where she received a Bachelor's in Science in Elementary Education. This will be her seven year teaching 4th grade at Gauthier Elementary. J.F. Gauthier is very near and dear to her heart because it’s where she attended elementary school as a child.

          Mrs. McCloskey became a teacher to educate, inspire, and be a positive role model for the students in her community. She believes every student can reach their full potential. Her moment of happiness is seeing her student's faces light up when they have reached that “ah-ha” moment.

During her time away from school, Mrs. McCloskey loves spending time with her family and friends. She loves going to the cinema to watch scary movies, having back yard barbecues and going camping with her family. Mrs. McCloskey is always ready for an adventure.
