Students in grades 4th - 5th at Meraux Elementary are invited to join the 4-H Club. Each year approximately 700 students participate in 24 4-H Clubs through the school in St. Bernard Parish.
The best way to discover what 4-H has to offer is to get involved. Each month a 4-H Club Meeting will be held at our school. At each of the monthly 4-H Club meetings 4-H Agents will go over the monthly newsletter that contains 4-H activities and events in which you can participate. They will also present a fun hands-on educational program to your club.
The membership fee for this year is $3.00 per member. You can also order a St. Bernard Parish 4-H t-shirt for $10.00. 4-H Club members are allowed to wear their shirts on meeting days and on Fridays.
As a member of the 4-H Club you will receive monthly newsletter that will have information about parish wide 4-H events. There are many activities that you may participate in as a 4-H Club member.
Due to Covid, clubs are not meeting until further notice. When clubs become available to students they will receive information about 4H and how to join. Thanks so much!
