Mrs. Sharon Landry
Welcome to Ms. Landry’s class! Sharon Landry has been an educator for 23 years and began her career at Chalmette Middle School where she taught English Language Arts until 2005. She was then in St. Charles Parish for 11 years. It is an honor to return to St. Bernard Parish and begin her second year as a 7th grade English teacher at Trist.
She has been married for 20 years and has two daughters, ages 19 and 11. She enjoys watching them compete in sports and also coaches her daughter’s recreational volleyball team. She loves to read mystery thrillers, visit friends and family, and play sports herself.
She has high expectations for her students and works alongside them to maximize their growth. It is her goal to spread her passion for reading and ensure that each student feels safe, confident, and successful.
She welcomes parental involvement and encourages communication with parents and guardians. Working together as a team for your child is the key to positive growth. Feel free to contact her with any questions, concerns, or contributions to your child’s educational experience.
Together we share and work daily toward the district’s Vision, Effort, and Success for our students.
