Mrs. Cody Jackson
Mrs. Jackson is an Algebra I teacher who teaches Technical Math and Algebra I for the ninth grade students. She looks forward to meeting her students during their first year of high school. She has been a CHS faculty member since August 2016. Mrs. Jackson is also a Freshman sponsor and a co-sponsor of the National Beta Club.
As a graduate of Chalmette High School, Mrs. Jackson attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and The University of New Orleans. She received a bachelor’s degree in Education and a minor in Mathematics. Once she graduated, she knew as a product of St. Bernard Parish's school system, that she wanted to come back to pursue her career here. After working at Andrew Jackson Middle School, Mrs. Jackson transitioned to Chalmette High School. She is a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish and wants to give back to her community. She resides in Meraux with her husband and two children.
