Beginning April 20th, we will now have weekly Google Classroom assignments and Zoom instructional to assist you with your distance learning. A new assignment will be posted every Monday and a video assignment on Wednesday, and we will have live Zoom office hours every Tuesday and Thursday at the following times:
9:30 – 10am (1st period)
10:30-11am (2nd period)
11:30am-12pm (3rd period)
12:30-1pm (4th period)
If you can't make the scheduled time for your class but you still need help, you may join another class Zoom session. There will be no Zoom codes necessary as long as you log-in through Clever, so I will NOT be sending out Zoom codes for the sessions. You will simply need to click on the Zoom icon at the correct time after you've logged in to Clever. If you are unable to log on to Clever, please contact me at email@example.com.
Google Classroom Info:
I sent your Google Classroom invitations to your school e-mail. If you need me to send the class code to a different e-mail address, let me know. You must access Google Classroom through Clever (the Clever link is on my teacher page). You will not need a code if you are accessing google classroom through Clever.
You will have to two Assignments plus a sketchbook assignment each week. All 3 will be due on Friday by 10 am. You are encored to get them done before Friday.

Mrs. Jeanie Bacon
This is Mrs. Bacon's forth year teaching Art at Chalmette High School. She has been in education for 19 years and has taught every grade from Kindergarden to 12th grade.
Mrs. Bacon grew up in Mansfield, Louisiana and graduated high school from Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts in Natchitoches. She later attended Northwestern State University as well as Louisiana Tech where she studied Photography, Art and Special Education.
Mrs. Bacon is the CHS Art Club sponsor and teaches the Summer Visual Arts Academy. She and her husband recently moved to Chalmette and she has a son currently attending Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. She enjoys spending her free time researching and recreating historic art and clothing as well as traveling and camping with family and friends.
