The Chalmette High Tech Crew was started in 2011 with the opening of the Chalmette High Cultural Arts Center. The goal is to train young adults for work in the entertainment industry. This group is part of a few that has projects/events/shows all year long. Aside from producing shows for Chalmette High, we work very closely with the rest of the school district with productions and we work within the community at events like Children's Christmas at Docvilli, Christmas on the Bayou, and many others.
This group is open to 9th-12th grade in the school year, and 7th-post secondary in the summer with the Performing Arts Academy. Students instreted will need to talk to Mr. Hebert.
