Mrs. Ruiz is a 5th grade teacher at J.F.Gauthier Elementary.  This is Mrs. Ruiz's 27th year of teaching. She graduated from the University of New Orleans with a degree in Elementary Education and a certification in Early Childhood.  Mrs. Ruiz earned her Master's degree in Elementary Education Curriculum and Instruction from William Carey University. 

 

Mrs Ruiz is the mother of four awesome kids...three daughters and a son.  She is a fan of LSU and the New Orleans Saints.  A fun fact about Mrs. Ruiz is that she loves dragonflies and bumblebees..
