• Student Council is a group of students elected to represent the CHS student body. They are committed to promoting an enthusiastic and spirited culture within our school. Our members become the face of Chalmette High through daily morning announcements where they start school off each day with a positive message for the student body. Student Council is in charge of events such as the Back to School dance, locker distribution, morning announcements, Christmas decorating, door decorating competitions, and Annual Titles.

  • Student Council is accepting applications for grade level representatives. Applications can be picked up in Ms. Roe's classroom (Room 238). Main campus applications should be turned into Ms. Roe (Room 238) or Mrs. McCloskey (Room 135); Academy applications should be turned into Mrs. Robin in the front office. Applications are due by Thursday, October 20.
