• Students in 5th grade,  Please consider joining this amazing club that has many fun opportunities for 4-H Club Members to participate in throughout the year.

The best way to discover what 4-H has to offer is to get involved. Each month a 4-H Club Meeting will be held at our school on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 10:55 to 11:55. This Club will present fun-hands on educational programs to our students. Students will also be informed through a monthly newsletter that will contain 4-H activities and events in which your student can participate.

Members in 5th grade will receive the "Exploring Discovering the World of 4-H"project book. Each 4-H Club Member will be asked to do their best to complete the information in thier project book. At the end of the school year project books for elementary schools will be collected and students who complete their books will receive a certificate and will get to participate in an end of the year field trip.

The membership fee fro this year is $3.00 per member. You can also order a St. Bernard Parish 4-H-shirt for $10.00. Please turn in $3.00 with your enrollment card and $.10.00 if you choose to order a t-shirt to Angie Arnold or Brittany Hodges. Please make checks payable to St. Bernard 4-H.

As a member of the 4-H club you will receive a monthly newsletter that will have information about parish wide 4-H events. There are many activities that you may participate in as a 4-H club member. If you have any questions you can contact the 4-H Leader at Chalmette Elementary  or 4-H staff members Lauren Faust lfaust@agcenter.lsu.edu or Wayne Burgess wburgess@agcenter.lsu.edu or by phone at

    Thank you
