           C. F. Rowley Alternative School will empower students to be academically, socially, and emotionally prepared to achieve their highest potential in a safe environment.
     
     
    Vision: 
     
          We, the staff of C. F. Rowley Alternative School, believe that every student has the potential to develop and maintain the academic, behavioral, and social skills required to reason, communicate, and live with dignity in a literate society.
     
          We seek to provide an educational and instructional environment that allows all students to reach their full potential.
     
          We will assist students in gaining the academic competence and personal accountability required to realize success as they enter the world of work or pursue higher education.
     
     
     
    Highlights: 
     
          100% of our seniors received high school diplomas in the 2015 – 2016 school year. 

          7th and 8th graders explored their individuality through art under the supervision of the YAYA partnership.

          6th and 11th graders explored the swamp and marsh eco-systems by producing PowerPoint presentations and artwork through our partnership with JPAS.

          Students, faculty, staff and administrators embraced the school’s fundraising efforts with major contributions to United Way, Relay for Life, and Project Graduation. 

          Our school secretary, Connie Gilmore, was recognized as the St. Bernard Parish School Board’s Support Person of the Year.

          Our principal, Andree Bonnaffons, was recognized as the district’s Principal of the Month for April 2016.
