Mrs. Atkinson is a Preschool teacher at J.F. Gauthier Elementary. After graduating from Chalmette High School in 2008, she went on to graduate from the University of New Orleans in 2012- majoring in Elementary Education and becoming certified in Early Childhood. During school hours, she enjoys watching her students make new discoveries, interacting with peers and sharing their love of learning with her. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her amazing family, shopping, fishing and cooking.
