Ms. Emily Breaux
Emily Breaux is a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. She graduated from Chalmette High School in 2000. After high school, she attended Louisiana State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. Upon moving back to St. Bernard Parish in November 2006, Emily decided she wanted to teach. In August 2007, Ms. Breaux began teaching Special Education in the St. Bernard Parish School System. She received her Special Education certification in December 2009 from the University of New Orleans. She continued her education and in May 2012, she received her Master of Education in Special Education. The next year, she earned a certification as an Educational Diagnostician. Ms. Breaux has been teaching Special Education at Davies Elementary since August 2008. She currently teaches special education students in 2nd and 3rd grade. She enjoys helping kids realize their potential and loves seeing their smiling faces. In her free time, Ms. Breaux loves cheering on the Tigers, hanging out with her dog, Fleur de Lis, and with her friends and family. She enjoys going to concerts and listening to live music.
