Ms. Sophia Crook is very excited to welcome her new biology students! Ms. Crook has been teaching in St. Bernard Parish since 2013. She has a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland in College Park. Go Terps!  She also has her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from LSU. Geaux Tigers! Since 2013, Ms. Crook has taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science and it brings her great joy that she might get to teach some of her former little scientists again. 

In her spare time, Ms. Crook is an avid sports fan of all things Baltimore Ravens, Baltmore Orioles, and Maryland Terrapins. Ms. Crook brings this tradition into her classroom with a plush Testudo that all of her students enjoy rubbing the nose for good luck before their own tests. Since coming to Louisiana, she does love the New Orleans Saints and has adopted the LSU Tigers. She loves to watch sports, play volleyball, and read.
