Mrs. Serigne

Mrs. Serigne attended St. Bernard Parish Public Schools her entire life. She went to St. Bernard High School and graduated in the top five of her class. After graduating high school, she attended Southeastern Louisiana University for one and a half years. Then, she transferred to the University of New Orleans to complete her educational studies. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education; and, she  graduated in the top thirty of her class

Mrs. Serigne began her teaching career in St. Bernard Parish in 2011. She has been teaching second grade at W. Smith Elementary for seven consecutive years. Now, she is teaching first grade. This is her second year being a first grade teacher.





    On Monday, April 13th,  I will begin teaching virtual lessons to my students. I called all parents on Thursday. If you did not answer, I left a message and sent a message, too. 

    My Office ZOOM hours are 9:00-11:00. I will conduct four virtual lessons per day. The virtual lessons will occur during the following time slots: 9:00-9:20, 9:30-9:50, 10:00-10:20, and 10:30-10:50.  I will also be available from 7:30-2:30 for any correspondences.

    Students should access most online programs using the Clever link on the Educational Links page. 

    All students have their usernames and passwords for Clever. If your child has misplaced his/her information please contact me for it.
