Ms. Olivia Lezina
Ms. Lezina was born and raised in St. Bernard Parish. For high school, she attended Mount Carmel Academy. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Southern Mississippi wehre she recieved a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. Ms. Lezina began her teaching career at W. Smith, Jr. Elementary in January 2012. Ms. Lezina is currently teaching Special Education at W. Smith. She loves to see her students grow and evolve into better learners and citizens. She enjoys seeing smiles and positive energy in her classroom. On her free time Ms. Lezina enjoys spending time with her dogs, Rico and Rosco, cooking, gardening, and attending Music Festivals.
Along side of Ms. Lezina, is her paraprofessional, Mrs. Martha Kennedy. Mrs. Kennedy was born and raised in Violet, Louisiana. She started her paraprofessional journey at C.F. Rowley and is now at W. Smith. Mrs. Kennedy's favorite quote is "Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good." She believies that if students feel good about themselves, they feel good, and they enchance their learning experience. Mrs. Kennedy enjoys spending time with her husband, Micheal Kennedy, her three children, and her three grandchildren. She is very involved in her church, Christian Fellowship.
