Ms. JoEllen Clark
Ms. Clark was born and raised in New Orleans. For high school, she attended Mount Carmel Academy. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Louisiana Lafayette where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Ms. Clark began her teaching career in Lafayette, Louisiana in 2002, where she taught fourth grade for 7 years. She then moved back to New Orleans to be a part of the reconstruction process after Hurricane Katrina, where she taught fourth grade for 4 more years. Ms. Clark is currently a second grade teacher at W. Smith Elementary, Jr. What she loves about teaching most is the energy that the students bring to the classroom and her life. Outside of school, Ms. Clark enjoys: swimming, biking, kayaking, camping, attending festivals, and things of that nature.
