No matter if it is someone new to dance or someone who has danced for 10 years, Ms. Gorbaty is excited about sharing the art of dance with the students of Chalmette High School. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance Performance from Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle, Washington. Continuing her education, she has a Kindergarten- 12^th grade Dance Teacher Certification from Tulane University. Dancing for 29 years, she is an alumnus of Chalmette High School and studied at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. 

Ms. Gorbaty loves watching the excitement, creativity and confidence grow in students through dance. She is the director of the Chalmette High School Contemporary Dance Company, and produces a show at the beginning of the Spring semester. Ms. Gorbaty is also a faculty member at Velocity Dance Center, LLC.
