Mrs. Sara D'Antoni

Mrs. D'Antoni origionally hails from Mississippi, went to college in Alabama, and moved to New Orleans in 2008 after earning a Bachelors in History. While at college Mrs. D'Antoni considers herself very lucky to have studied abroad twice, at the University of Oxford in England and a month long course studying art in Italy through Birmingham Southern College. Following in her grandmothers footsteps, Mrs. D'Antoni wanted to teach and share her love of history, art, and education. She will be starting her fourth year as social studies teacher at Chalmette High School. She teaches both World History and Fine Art Survey. 

Mrs. D'Antoni is currently furthuring her education as a 2015 Hollyhock Fellow at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.  

Outside of school, Mrs. D'Antoni enjoys spending time with her husband, Phil D'Antoni, cooking, and participating in events around the city with her Mardi Gras krewe.
