Mrs. Allyce James Carbine

Allyce James Carbine is from Alexandria, Louisiana and graduated high school from Holy Savior Menard Central High School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She found her place in St. Bernard Parish School System in 2011 and has spent the past ten years teaching art, science, reading, keyboarding, and English. Mrs. Carbine is also the art club sponsor. Throughout the years, Mrs. Carbine has organized community art exhibits, school pep-rallies, and concerts. In 2012 she was named the St. Bernard Middle School Teacher of the Year.

Mrs. Carbine is an active member of the National Art Education Association and attends yearly conventions to expand her knowledge in Art Education. In her free time she enjoys painting and visiting family and friends. She, her husband, Matt, and their children, Hattie and Silas enjoy the local art culture that the community has to offer. She is looking forward to immersing her students in that very culture for yet another year!
