Marcy Mason-Hennessey teaches Pre-K4 at Arabi Elementary. She was born and raised in St. Bernard Parish and currently resides in Meraux. She attended St. Louise de Marillac from preschool through 8th grade and continued her education at Mount Carmel Academy in New Orleans where she graduated in 2003. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2007 from Loyola University in New Orleans where she was a member of the Honor Society. She received her teaching license after studying at both the University of New Orleans and Tulane University. She began teaching for the St. Bernard Parish School Board in August of 2008 and has worked at Gauthier Elementary, Andrew Jackson Elementary, and Arabi Elementary. She is happily married to Anthony Hennessey and has three sons, Dylan, Bennett, & Connor. When she is not teaching she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. She also enjoys trips to zoos and wild animal parks to see and interact with animals. Her favorite things include anything Disney (especially Winnie- the- Pooh & Cinderella), sweet tea, chocolate, vanilla iced coffee, candy, manatees, and hippos.
