Mrs. Kristen Blazio

Kristen Blazio holds a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelors degree in Education. She has been a certified teacher since 2012 when she started her career in St. Bernard Parish as an elementary school teacher. This is her seventh year teaching and continues to absolutely love it! Over the years, she has built relationships with her students which has allowed her to create a trusting and reassuring environment that is essiential for her students. One goal of hers has always been to make her classroom feel like a home away from home for her students. She wants her students to want to come to school excitied about what they will learn and accomplish! Kristen loves being a part of the Lacoste bulldog family and looks forward to many more years of educating and many more years of making differences!

Kristen has been happily married for four years. Last June, She and her husband added a new addition to their family! In addition to raising her one year old son, Kristen has three dogs (two Rat Terriers and one Rottweiler) and one lazy lizard which is a Bearded Dragon. The Bearded Dragon became a part of Kristen's family when she started teaching. She initially got it as the classroom pet. Kristen is definitely family oriented and loves being around and meeting people. She loves all of the many roles she fills on a daily basis: mother, wife, sister, daughter, teacher, friend etc. She can be described as a caring and genuine person. Kristen is also passionate about education. She is determined to help her students be successful and strives to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for all of her students.
