Mrs. Katie Nunez
Mrs. Katie Nunez has been teaching in St. Bernard Parish for eight years. A Chalmette native, she graduated with a BFA in dance education from the University of Southern Mississippi and received her Master's in Educational Leadership at the University of Holy Cross. For the past four years, Mrs. Nunez has been a part of the district's 3rd grade ELA and Social Studies curriculum committee. When she's not instructing her third graders at Davies Elementary, she's teaching dance classes at Modern Conceptions of Dance, where she's been on faculty for the past thirteen years. In her spare time, Mrs. Nunez loves spending time with her family and visiting the Big Apple as often as possible.
