Amanda Rhodes Farragut started teaching in 2012 and is starting her 11th year of teaching in St. Bernard Parish. Mrs. Farragut has lived in St. Bernard Parish her entire life and is a product of the St. Bernard Parish Public School System. She graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education in 2011 and received her Art Certification in 2016. 

Mrs. Farragut enjoys spending her time with her beloved family. She has a love for sports, shopping, reading, crafting, drawing, decorating, and gardening, but nothing compares to her love for teaching. She loves to see her students blossom into young scholars throughout the school year and prides herself on creating a creative, engaging, and accepting classroom environment.
