Catherine Arnona has been teaching for fifteen years and she has taught in St. Bernard Parish at Lacoste Elementary and Arlene Meraux Elementary School. She is currently the Kindergarten Teacher Leader at Arlene Meraux Elementary School. After school, she sponsors the Drama Club and serves on the Communication Team. She has also taken the role of assisting in updating the Kindergarten ELA and Science Curriculum. 

Catherine is married and has two children. She has a Masters Degree with a Concentration in Education and is certified to teach in the State of Louisiana. Mrs. Arnona often says, "I treat my students as I would want my own child treated within the classroom." She has taught Kindergarten and Third grade and has enjoyed teaching both grade levels. She feels that communication with the parents is extremely important for the success within her classroom.
