Ms. Angél Serignè, M.Ed

Angel Serigne is an enthusiastic special education teacher at C. F. Rowley Alternative School.  She is a lifelong resident of St. Bernard where she has also spent her entire teaching career of 23 years within the service of the St. Bernard Parish School system.

Her class theme this year is "Choices Today Determine Tomorrow!"  Students quite often feel that, in school, they struggle to keep afloat, but it is Ms. Serigne's goal to make her class stimulating and gratifying for your child to build confidence as they ride the rollercoaster of life.  She looks forward to a positive year of building your student's success academically, socially, and emotionally.

Additionally, Ms. Serigne teaches Odyssey Ware, encompassing all igh school courses, and Credentialing classes.    She also prides herself in her phone calls home.  She loves to make positive phone calls home and enjoys hearing the joy in parents' voices when these calls take place.  The purpose of this is to work together to assist your child in reaching his or her goals in order to facilitate a return to a district through positive reinforcement.  That positivity also aides in building a child's self worth.
